John McTernan: Facilities Director

John McTernan Jr. began working at Eagle’s Nest Church in July 2015.  As the Eagle’s Nest Facilities Director, John manages over 86,000 square feet of occupied building space on 70 acres of property on the Eagle’s Nest campus. John also co-manages financial records, bookkeeping and assists in preparing the overall ministry budget for approval. 

 John lives with his wife of 39 years, Teresa, in Delmar, Delaware. Teresa owns and operates a home daycare business. John and Teresa have two daughters, Megan Douglas (husband, Jonathan, and two children, Josie and Mac), and Kristen McTernan.  

 John has completed Master's in Divinity training and has preached sermons and led Bible studies when requested. John has served in various ministry roles as a volunteer to include: Adult Sunday School teacher, Men’s ministry, and he currently serves as Eagle’s Nest Security Team Director. 

 John is also a proud member on the Board of Salisbury Christian School.  John enjoys watching his favorite sports programs, including the Baltimore Ravens, the Baltimore Orioles, and the University of Maryland.
